Pop-up Cards
I remember making my first batch of pop-up cards when I was 7 years old with rotating wheels, coloured with crayola markers and barely folding flat =) As I grew up I always enjoyed making cards for people, because I always feel honoured that my art can be there, for that special someone, on that special occasion.
To me, pop-up cards have been the pinnacle of card design, since it transcends the 2D boundaries of paper while still being part of the whole. My style may range from cute, geeky, quirky (or all!), so I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy making them!
If you wish to purchase any of these, feel free to check out my Etsy shop (the little dog on your left menu), and if a design you like isn't there then please email me and I'll be glad to help!
Silhouette Series
These cards are made in the classic Kirigami or Origami Architecture style, beautiful because the simplicity of colour accentuates the complexity of the cuts and folds. These cards are elegant in design, highly adaptable for any occasion, and leaves lots of room for personalizing!
Graphical Series
Being an Illustrator plus Paper Engineer in one, I enjoy drawing original designs you won't find anywhere else! Some of these were commissioned for personal and corporate uses, hence you will find a wide range of themes here, from common (Christmas/Birthday cards) to wacky (Anatomical cards anyone?)!
